About Club Tineke
Club Tineke was born from something we felt was missing: the warm, personal atmosphere of the house parties we grew up with, intimate, spontaneous, and always with your full friend group. We aim to recreate that energy at larger-scale events, without losing the intimacy and playfulness of a home gathering.
Founded by Mees and Niels, two young Amsterdam-based creators, Club Tineke is named after Mees’ grandmother: a true old-school lady from the Jordaan district, sociable, outspoken, and always ready for a chat. Her spirit is at the core of everything we create. Our events feel just like her, personal, inviting, and full of life, but with high-quality production, serious sound, and imaginative visual design.
Club Tineke is a tribute to the Amsterdam values of connection, humor, and freedom. From intimate private dinners to a full-on mini-festival on the Elandsgracht.
Through Club Tineke, we also hope to cherish and carry forward the rich cultural heritage of the Jordaan, keeping it alive in new forms for a new generation of young Dutch creatives.
